Ziwe Fihlani

Hailing from Welkom ZIWE FIHLANI is a Saxophonist and Composer who’s been living in Daveyton since early 2000’s. She’s also the band leader of Ziwe and The Phoneless Band, with the aim of creating her own unique sound, developing techniques and a genre that will encompass all her styles of music. She’s inspired by Jazz, Pop, Rock, Neo-soul & House music. Ziwe was part of the East Rand Youth Orchestra before graduating from UJ in 2014 and later studying at Music Academy of Gauteng in 2021. She’s currently developing and compiling her own music to record for her first album.
