Luthando Mthi

After completing his Drama and Theatre studies at UCT in 2002, LUTHANDO MTHI earned his first job as a Speech and Drama facilitator at New Africa Theatre Academy. He later directed a musical production called They Died Singing which was premiered at the Artscape then moved and staged in Gqeberha and East London, where he conducted Acting Master Classes and Theatre Making workshops in more than ten communities. Luthando is a renowned performer and theatre director who has performed in numerous productions in South Africa, Japan, Singapore, Holland, Czech Republic, England and France. He directed over ten theatre productions in his 20 years of experience in the Arts and is currently a resident poet and performer at the Dumisani Masilela Theatre in Germiston Ekurhuleni.
