Surprise Malanga

SURPRISE MALANGA is a talented singer with strong vocals and a natural ability to songwrite and in a wide range of genres with her prefered language as Xitsonga. Surprise is a graduate from The Music Academy of Gauteng and in her first year performed at the 7th Edition Africities Summit. Under the mentorship of the late Dr Johnny Mekoa she has built a strong working relationship with Selaelo Selota singing at the Standard Bank Joy of Jazz, Mbombela Jazz Festival, Colours of the Rainbow Cape Town to name a few. Her most profound moment was at the Evening of Jazz with Four Forty alongside legend Prince Lengoasa. Surprise has recently released her debut EP titled Matimba
